a busy month

This month has been so busy! Max moved out on the 14th, Paul is moving in this weekend, and this last week we had new carpet, tile & vinyl installed. With my appliances out in the living room & my bank account feeling a bit empty, my stomach started to lose out as well. Right now we are in the process of moving everything back in its place or in many cases a new place because we are trying to organize the condo. This Tuesday the new bed, dresser, & couches arrive. My back hurts from all the moving & painting I have been doing lately. Hopefully it's all worthwhile though & we will have people over regularly when our life in material form is no longer sprawled out in the dining room. Tony & Kyle are playing Prince on Mystery Science Radio 3000 right now.

don't ask

I logged in with the intention of updating, I really did. Then I got distracted - I watched two trailers for RE5, and then I actually sat here watching a kid reenact one of the games. Why am I watching this? I am still watching this! Why?

The last couple of days I've been painting Max's old bathroom. I am now at the point that I have painted all I can without first cleaning a bit of the environment around me because I can't bring myself to get any closer to whatever slop he left behind. I wish I could strap on a vomit bag while I cleaned so that I could purge myself when necessary. Oh what a gross bathroom.

This month has been really hectic. I've been in & out of the clinic (I have another appointment this week). My car needs to go to the shop because of a problem with one of the belts. This weekend I need to move everything off the tile and to the carpet because the flooring will be done on Monday.

Our furniture is coming in the second week of August. Paul is moving in the last week of July. I am tired.

press "1" for English

And press "2" if you'd rather cry about pressing "1" for English. I think it is hilarious that the same group of people who complain about pressing a number on their phones also claim that immigrants are stealing their jobs. Obviously if pressing "1" is too big a task for you, your work opportunities are limited.

Oh, and history lesson: Immigrants have been coming to this country and NOT speaking English since before some of your grandparents were born.

Let's face it though, people aren't complaining that Russians or German immigrants didn't learn English (while their children may have) - they are complaining about speakers of Spanish.
